LOS ANGELES, CA — Thursday, June 26, 2008 — Today marked the arrival of SPIN TRIM, the exercise product designed for people who want something that’s inexpensive and easy to use but that doesn’t require any special training. No time to go to the gym? Intimidated by people who look like they spend all their time at the gym? Don’t feel like spending a lot of money on an expensive and cumbersome workout device only to have it gather dust under a bed or a couch? Then the answer might be a little work out device invented by a mechanic in sunny southernCalifornia.
While struggling with chronic shoulder pain, Ralph M. needed some relief. On the verge of thinking he was going to have to live with this pain the rest of his life, Ralph had a revelation. While watching an old World War II movie with his wife, Ralph saw his answer. Two men, desperate to save their sinking submarine, were turning valves with both hands. Ralph’s mind began to work and shortly he embarked on a series of experiments that would lead to the Spin Trim device.
After months of trying different prototypes, ranging from wall devices to pulley systems, nothing seemed to work. Ralph thought back to the movie that inspired him initially and realized that the device he was about to create needed to be a disc which could rotate from a handle. It was then that the Spin Trim device was born.
